Europe
Howden’s European headquarters are near Glasgow, where it has an engineering and sales facility. Howden manufactures a range of fans in Belfast, and elements for heat exchangers are manufactured in Cartagena, Spain. Compressors are manufactured in Scotland and in France. Howden Ventilatoran, based in Heidenheim, Germany, manufactures tunnel ventilation systems.
North America
Howden Buffalo Inc is headquartered in Camden, South Carolina and has four other main facilities, one of which is located in Mexico City.
South America
Howden’s growing presence in South America reflects additional projects in the iron and steel industry, in particular in Brazil.
China
Howden Hua is the market leader in China for its core fan and heat exchanger product ranges. Howden Hua’s headquarters and design function are located in Beijing and its recently expanded manufacturing facilities are located in Weihai.
Rest of world
Africa
Howden Africa Holdings Limited, headquartered in Johannesburg, provides products and services to the South African state owned power utility, and the mining and energy sectors.
Asia Pacific (excluding China)
Howden supplies equipment to the mining, industrial and power supply industries in Australia, and a range of industries in South East Asia, and is building up a presence in India.
